Would you like to Get Live?

Well, if you want to you can download the betas at get.live.com. I notice that they seem to be going with the "Windows" name rather than Microsoft. What should we be reading into that?

Eh?

I mean, I know I'm getting older. And that 'Times Square--Two AM' photo doesn't really do much in the way of flattering my technerdy middle-agedness. Still, it would be nice when I logged on to Myspace for the first time in ages if there were at least ONE friend request from a hot webcam chick. Granted, I haven't been around much. It's nothing personal, Myspace. I have been busy at work, and my online time has been heavily slanted toward Facebook since they added the fabulous Scrabulous application. And then there's the site I created for my fellow Patriots from good ole MHS. It's been doing well and it's much more addicitive since I know pretty much everyone on there. Still, what gives? Has the instability of the stock market put a damper on web cam startups? Are all the hot web cam girls responding to the moving new ad campaign for The War Effort and enlisting in the Marines instead? Or perhaps they're all just in a bathroom stall at the Newark airport tapping their feet in an erratic fashion and passing tp squares under the stall wall hoping to find new paying customers. I hope it's something like that anyway. I'd hate to think I'd lost it.
